Kids Against Hunger Receives Grant From MDRT Foundation: A grant of $15,000 was presented to Kids Against Hunger's founder, Richard Proudfit, by Milt Edgren of Woodhill Financial. In addition to nominating and endorsing Kids Against Hunger for this grant, Mr. Edgren volunteered to package meals with a team from Woodhill Financial and a fourth grade class from Greenwood Elementary School. In only two hours, the volunteeers packaged almost 10,000 meals. The meals will be sent to Kids Against Hunger's feeding partner in Haiti to support a school feeding program for over 1,500 children.
