Kids Against Hunger is pleased to announce that we have been admitted for participation in the 2009 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Each fall, beginning in September, federal employees - civilian, military and postal - are invited to support eligible national and local charities. Employees choose the groups they wish to support from a list of charities that have submitted applications and been deemed qualified by the CFC. To be eligible to receive donations through the CFC, charities must meet stringent requirements set by the federal government.
Being included in the CFC program not only makes it convenient for federal employees who know of Kids Against Hunger to support our work with their donations; it also introduces our organization to those who are not yet familiar with us. As we strive to expand our program of feeding children around the corner and around the world, raising awareness is crucial to our success. We encourage all federal employees to select Kids Against Hunger as their charity of choice and register for monthly donations through the 2009 CFC.
